Mike Horne brings deep capital raising expertise earned through helping 200+ startups raise over $270M in funding. As Managing Partner of Via Capital Fund, Mike leads advisory engagements and works directly with founders to help them secure the capital they need to scale.

Mike specializes in helping early-stage companies navigate the complex capital raising process. From pitch deck refinement to investor introductions, he guides founders through every step of successful fundraising—bringing firsthand experience from both sides of the investment table.
Investment Background
Mike began his career at Wasatch Advisors, a Salt Lake City-based investment firm managing $15 billion in assets. His time in their research department gave him deep insight into how institutional investors evaluate opportunities, assess risk, and make funding decisions.
Entrepreneurial Experience
A serial entrepreneur himself, Mike has started six companies, expanded two to multiple states, and raised capital and sold three of them. This firsthand experience with the full startup lifecycle—from launch to exit—informs every advisory engagement at Via Capital Fund.
